About the event

Signposts is a covenant discipleship opportunity for lay and clergy to support and mentor one another while exploring God’s dream for Beloved Community and an anti-racist, anti-oppressive world. Through a commitment to spiritual disciplines, story sharing, and deep listening, groups examine themes of white supremacy, individual and systemic racism, and oppression, and work in community to recognize and deconstruct their power in our own lives.
As we intentionally shine light in our own dark places, we hope to encourage and empower others to become Signposts who help light up the darkness in families, neighborhoods, and God’s world.
We do this work utilizing small Covenant Groups, Pilgrimages, and Retreats.
The nucleus of our work is Covenant Groups. Signposts Covenant Groups emphasize an inward and outward journey of faith through prayer, study, stewardship of our bodies, keeping Sabbath, written personal reflection and sharing of stories alongside diverse relationships and disciplined Christian conferencing…
